Advisory- GSTN e-Services App to Replace e-Invoice QR Code Verifier App Shortly

The Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) is excited to announce the launch of the E-Invoice Verifier App. This app is a new and improved tool designed to make verifying electronic invoices (e-invoices) easier. It replaces the older e-Invoice QR Code Verifier App and offers more features. As a result, businesses can now manage their invoices more efficiently.

Key Features of the E-Invoice Verifier App

1.QR Code Verification: This feature allows users to check the information inside the QR code. You can then compare it with the details on the printed invoice to ensure everything is correct.

2.User-Friendly Interface: The app has an easy-to-use design. Therefore, it is simple to navigate, even for those who are not tech-savvy.

3.Comprehensive Coverage: The app can verify e-invoices from all six Invoice Registration Portals (IRPs). As a result, it covers a wide range of transactions.

4.Non-Login Based: You do not need to log in or share personal information to use this app. This makes the app more convenient and secure.

Additional Features of the E-Invoice Verifier App

1.PAN-based Search: You can search for e-invoices using the PAN number, which makes tracking easier. For example, if you have multiple accounts, this feature is helpful.

2.Automatic Exemption List: The app creates a list of suppliers who are exempt from e-invoicing. Consequently, it helps businesses stay compliant with ease.

3.Global Search Bar: The app’s search function allows users to find e-invoices across all IRPs. This feature simplifies managing large volumes of invoices.

Benefits of the E-Invoice Verifier App

1.Enhanced Security: Verifying e-invoices with accuracy reduces the chances of fraud. In addition, it ensures that all your GST filings are secure.

2.Increased Efficiency: The verification process is quicker and easier, which saves time. Therefore, businesses can focus on other important tasks.

3.Improved Compliance: The app helps businesses stay compliant with GST regulations by reducing errors.

How to Use the E-Invoice Verifier App

1.Download the App: It is available on the Google Play Store. The iOS version will be available soon.

2.Scan the QR Code: Once downloaded, use the app to scan the QR code on your e-invoice.

3.Verify the Information: The app checks the data in the QR code and matches it to the printed invoice.

GSTN e-Services App

GSTN is also launching the GSTN e-Services App, which will soon replace the e-Invoice QR Code Verifier App. This app offers additional features beyond e-invoice verification. As a result, it will improve how businesses manage their GST compliance.

1.Verify e-Invoices: You can scan and verify B2B e-Invoices and confirm the status of the Invoice Reference Number (IRN).

2.GSTIN Search: You can search for GSTIN details by using either a GSTIN or PAN number. This feature offers flexibility for businesses.

3.Return Filing History: This feature allows users to check the return filing history of any GSTIN. In addition, it makes managing past filings easier.

4.Multiple Input Methods: You can input search details through text, voice commands, or scanning. Therefore, it offers more ways to use the app.

5.Result Sharing: You can share the search results with others directly through the app, making collaboration easier.
