Service providers can register them selves as a seller by providing necessary information like GST certificate, pan card and incorporation certificate along with MSME certificate as well as list of services they providers.
Service providers have to select the nature of service as well as pricing factor while registering a service.
How GeM Works:
Pre requisites for GeM sellers
- Your Aadhaar Number/Virtual ID or Personal PAN Number.
- Your Mobile Number linked with Aadhaar.
- Active Email id (can be Personal E-mail Id or Company/Organization allotted Email-Id)
- Constitution Type (Proprietorship Firm/LLP Firm, Company, Trust/Society).
- Date of Incorporation/Registration of your business
- CIN (Company Information Number) in case you are registering as a Company
- PAN Number of your Business (as per Income Tax records)
- Income Tax Return Details (ITR Form and ITR acknowledgment) for the last three years.
- Bank Account Number and IFSC Code of Bank Account which will be used for receiving payments for business done on GeM
- Complete Registered Office Address Details along with Alternate E-Mail Id & Contact Number
- Billing Address with GSTIN Number (in absence of GSTIN you will not be able to accept any Orders beyond INR 2.5 lacs on GeM)
- Companies and Firms are also required to verify Key Person information as per ITR records.
- If you are registering as a Start-Up, – DIPP Number – Mobile Number linked with DIPP
- If you are registering as an MSE, – UAM Number (Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum Number) – Mobile Number linked with UAM
